I sit here indulging myself in the combined music of Grizzly Bear
and Brian Eno's "Canon in D Major".
As the separate songs play at once
my mind is at ease,
and Brian Eno's "Canon in D Major".
As the separate songs play at once
my mind is at ease,
my soul is at ease,
my life is at ease.
I begin thinking of the thread of photos on this blog.
Each showing a sign or advertisement saying "Never Hide".
I wonder what this means to the few of those who actually see it.
I don't mean look at it,
I mean that their soul
sees it,
I am slowly becoming inspired.
I am wanting to write until my thoughts all tangle and disperse.I begin thinking of the thread of photos on this blog.
Each showing a sign or advertisement saying "Never Hide".
I wonder what this means to the few of those who actually see it.
I don't mean look at it,
I mean that their soul
sees it,
reads it,
encompasses it.
For me, these photos remind me to be strong.
They remind me of who I am.
They remind me of who society wants me to be.
They remind me of who I want myself to be.
They remind me to stay true to myself.
They remind me that in order to make a difference in my life,
I must first teach myself to never hide.
I cannot store myself away in spite of what the world thinks.
I am who I am,
I think what I think,
I like what I like,
I love whom I love,
I do what I do,
I live how I live.
Nothing will change this.

Will you?
